It’s really no surprise that 311‘s most popular month for touring is in March (especially March 11th, when they usually perform a special concert). Well, March 2011 will be no different because the band has just announced their first ever cruise.
Along with special guests and a ton of fans, 311 is setting sail aboard the Carnival Destiny on March 3. The ship will leave out of Miami and travel through the Turks and Caicos Islands before returning on March 7.
“The band and I are really excited about working with Sixthman on this cruise,” said 311 manager Adam Raspler on pollstar.com.
Other than tons of music, each fan aboard the music cruise can also get a photograph with 311, attend a Q-and-A session and request certain songs. So far, performers DJ Soulman (from Phunk Junkeez) and Pepper have been announced, with more acts coming soon.

311 and The Offspring are launching their Unity Tour 2010 tomorrow! Have you gotten your 311 tickets?
The 18-city U.S. amphitheater tour kicks off on June 18 in Fairbanks, Alaska, and runs through July 25 in San Diego, Calif. Some notable highlights include Summerfest in Milwaukee on June 25, the Taste of Minnesota Festival in St. Paul on July 5, and the Mis-State Fair in Paso Robles, Calif., on July 23.

311 has confirmed the dates and stops on their upcoming Fall-Winter 2009 tour. This latest outing will kick off November 11 in Temecula, Calif., and end in Austin, Texas, on December 8th. Stops in between include The Fillmore in Detroit and the Bayfront Amphitheatre in Miami.
The band has nine albums of material to entertain their fans on this roadtrip, including new cuts from their most recent release, Uplifter.
Joining 311 on the road is a revolving door of opening acts, including State Radio, Kottonmouth Kings, Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid. Check your local listings to see which special guest will be playing in your town!

Rockers 311 just finished up their Unity Tour 2009 with Ziggy Marley and The Expendables, and now they are planning on a fall outing.
The laid back punk rockers are planning on hitting the road from mid-November through mid-December, with a plan for some Japan shows as well.
The band is touring behind their new release, UPLIFTER, which is available now. A standard version with 12 songs, as well as a deluxe version with 14 songs and an 80-minute DVD, is available to fans throughout the world.
